Today I'd like to demonstrate how to generate a direct link to one of your Amazon Creator Connections campaigns.
A direct Amazon Creator Connections campaign link is a link that works direcltyfor Amazon Associates. If you try and copy your campaign link from the brands side of Amazon Advertising, it will not work for affiliates.
At my agency Afflytics, I run manage affiliate programs for Amazon, DTC, and SaaS brands. I've found directly linking to Amazon Creator Connection campaigns useful when trying to move affiliates I start conversations with in social media DMs, email threads, over to my Creator Connection Campaigns.
They can also be included on the landing page advertising your affiliate program on a brands DTC website.
How to Generate a Direct Creator Connection Campaign Link
To do this, you'll need an Amazon Associates account that has been approved for Creator Connections account. You just need to have sent 100 clicks through Amazon Associates and have generated one sale in order to be approved.
If you're an Amazon brand and you don't have this Amazon Associates account, but need help creating a direct link, Be sure to leave a comment or drop an email and I can build one for you.
Next, from the brand side, navigate to the Amazon Creator Connections campaign that you're trying to create a direct link for, and copy campaign name.
Head to your Associates account, where you'll find the Promotions tab.
Click on Creator Connections.
Go to the search bar for all Amazon creator connection campaigns and paste in the name of the name of the campaign.
Identifying your campaign, and Accept the campaign, following the link through.
Copy the URL that's in the bar.
Cloaking Your Campaign Link
To take this one step further, I'd recommend using a link cloaking tool to make sure your campaign link is branded and contextua.
I use Geniuslink.
Summarize the campaign name in the back half of the URL. Add -CC to the link if character limits allow.
You now know have a cloaked, direct Amazon Creator Connections campaign link, for your affiliates to use.
